Simon Patton

Simon Patton is the Chief Executive Officer at EMQN CIC, where they focus on quality assurance in the genomics healthcare sector. With extensive experience in molecular diagnostics and a commitment to equitable access to high-quality genomic testing, they have significantly expanded EMQN's membership and operational scale since its inception in 1999. Simon's previous roles include Executive Administrator and Director at EMQN, as well as Quality Manager at Central Manchester Children's University NHS Foundation Trust. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Population Genetics at the University of Cambridge and hold a BSc in Marine Biology from the University of Liverpool.
