Guy Mercer is an experienced sustainability professional with a strong background in corporate sustainability and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability and Lead Consultant at EMR since June 2019, Mercer previously held key roles including Lead for Environment & Sustainability Business at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, Senior Technical Director and Head of Operations (Environment & Sustainability) at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the Middle East, and Head of Environmental & Sustainability Services at Rhead Group. Earlier experience includes positions as Associate Director at WS Atkins, where Mercer led the corporate sustainability team. Educational achievements include programs in Circular Economy and Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge.
