Reto Giger

Reto Giger has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Reto is currently serving as the Head Group Controlling & Accounting at EMS Group since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager ERP at Lenzlinger Söhne AG from October 2020 to March 2021. Reto also took voluntary time off for business and private projects as a CFO from January 2020 to September 2020. Reto Giger previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Bioengineering AG from September 2017 to December 2019. Before that, they worked at LafargeHolcim Group as the Head Corporate Reporting from January 2012 to August 2017 and as a Corporate Controller from June 2009 to December 2011. Reto Giger also gained significant experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers Mekong (Thailand-Vietnam) as a Senior Manager from September 2004 to April 2009 and at PricewaterhouseCoopers Zurich as a Manager from October 1999 to August 2004. Reto started their career as a Treuhänder/Fiduciary at Maag, Mülli, Schöb & Partner from April 1996 to April 1999.

Reto Giger completed the Swiss Federal Fiduciary Certificate/Treuhändler mit eidg. Fachausweis from KV Business School Zürich from 1996 to 1999. From 2000 to 2003, Reto Giger pursued the Swiss Certified Public Accountant CPA/Eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer degree from EXPERTsuisse. In 2010, Reto Giger completed the Holcim Leadership Program at IMD. Finally, in 2012, Reto Giger completed the Holcim Senior Management Program also at IMD.
