Emsco Group, originally the THEO J. ELY company, was founded in 1867. The company's original product lines consisted of products such as wooden mop buckets, mop handles, and related cleaning items, carpet beaters, cross cut saw handles, cow pokes, buggy whips, all considered cutting edge in the mid 1800's.
Theo's mantra was to solve problems through innovation and function, always keeping value and customer service in the forefront of his thinking.

We have changed quite a bit since the 1800's, broadening our scope and markets. Through the years, EMSCO Group has maintained a position of outstanding quality and customer satisfaction, which has insured the company's growth, expanding to it's current stature. EMSCO Group currently manufactures and successfully markets over 12 product lines.

Emsco Group has the manufacturing capability to develop and manufacture products in a wide variety of venues including: METAL STAMPING, INJECTION MOLDING, TEXTILE CONVERSION, STAPLE SETTING, WOOD HANDLE CONVERSION, and MARKET SPECIFIC ASSEMBLY.

Our main manufacturing and distribution facilities in Girard, PA are located centrally for shipping products efficiently across the country, or across the globe. Our sales and marketing department, with more than 200 sales reps are in tune with all of the major mass marketers in the USA, inclusive of food, drug, discount and home improvement, retailers, and wholesalers.
