Susan Pollara

Director of Sales at Emtrain

As a history major in college, Susan focused her academic work on race, gender, and the law in 18th and 19th century America. This focus on racial and gender equity helped shaped the direction of Susan’s career and community work. Her early career included teaching fourth grade and running a nonprofit that provided after school programming to ‘“at-risk” children.

For the past 15 years, Susan has worked in social impact technology, on both product and sales teams. This love of technology, her desire to try to make a positive difference in the world, and her deep passion for racial and gender equity have all come together in her role as Enterprise Account Executive at Emtrain. In 2020 Susan received a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion for HR from Cornell and she’s always seeking out opportunities to learn more about these complex and nuanced issues.
