Ege Uluca is currently an Associate Professor at EMU, specializing in architectural conservation and cultural heritage. Ege has conducted extensive research and published studies on urban conservation, historic site management, material conservation, and vernacular architecture. They previously worked as a Project Manager at AKÖZ Construction and served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania. Ege has taught various courses related to conservation at Istanbul Kultur University and is dedicated to increasing public awareness about architectural conservation through related projects and NGOs. Ege holds a BArch, an MSc, and a PhD in Restoration, as well as a Post-Doc in Historic Preservation and Conservation.
