Jim Laur

Jim Laur is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Cedars Sinai Intellectual Property Company and Managing Director at Cedars Sinai Health Ventures, Laur also holds prominent positions on the boards of Gravidas Diagnostics, Inc. and Gemelli Biotech, as well as a board observer role at Emulate, Inc. Previously, Laur was Vice President of Intellectual Property and VP for Legal & Technology Affairs at Cedars-Sinai for over three decades. Additionally, Laur has contributed to Prometheus Biosciences, Inc. and Precision IBD as a board member and observer. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from UCLA.
