Randy Daughters is an accomplished neuroscientist with extensive experience in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. Currently serving as Director of Neuroscience and Head of Discovery Biology MPS at Emulate, Inc. since June 2022, Randy has previously held significant positions including Principal Investigator at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where research focused on neurodegeneration, muscular dystrophies, cardiovascular diseases, and neuroinflammation. As the founder and Executive Director of the Minnesota Regenerative Medicine Program, Randy aimed to enhance access and equity in biomedical research for underrepresented communities. A strong academic background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics from the University of Minnesota, complemented by postdoctoral fellowships in NHLBI and NIH. Throughout a career spanning various roles in academic and research institutions, Randy has contributed significantly to the understanding of stem cell mechanisms and therapeutic applications across multiple fields.
