Jon Affeld

Jon Affeld has had an extensive and successful career in marketing and business development. Jon started their career as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from September 1989 to August 1993. Jon then went on to work at Hewlett Packard as a WW Product Line Manager from 1995 to 1999. After that, they joined Dell as a Senior Product Line Manager from 1999 to 2001. From 2001 to 2003, they worked at Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. as the Director of Product and Solutions Marketing. Jon then joined Tasman Networks as the Director of Marketing from 2003 to 2005. Following this, they worked at BlueArc as the Sr. Director of Marketing and Business Development from 2005 to 2009. Currently, they are serving as the VP of Marketing and Business Development at Emulex, a position they have held since September 2009.

Jon Affeld attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Jon later pursued further education at Arizona State University from 1993 to 1995. At ASU, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, during the same period at W. P. Carey School of Business, also part of Arizona State University, Jon pursued an MBA/MS program, although the specific field of study is not mentioned.
