Michael Winlo has over 13 years of work experience. Michael began their career in 2006 as a Medical Intern at ROYAL PERTH HOSPITAL. In 2007, they worked as a Physician at OSH Medical and also served as the Founding CEO of Cerulean Medical, where they developed the core business and manufacturing plans, designed their clinical case-study program and led negotiations between multiple European-based, potential strategic partners. In 2011, they were a Business Development Intern at West Health Institute and a Summer Intern at Physic Ventures. From 2012 to 2016, they held various roles at Palantir Technologies, including Health Lead, Deployment Strategist and Business Cultivation Engineer. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Director and CEO of Linear Clinical Research Ltd, where they served a world-class, early stage, clinical research organisation improving patient access to, and accelerating the development of, new therapies. In 2020, they became a Strategic Advisor at Perth Biodesign and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at emyria.
Michael Winlo obtained an MBBS(Hons) from The University of Western Australia between 2000 and 2005. Michael then attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business between 2010 and 2012, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Certificate in Public Administration and Social Innovation. In 2015, Winlo obtained the Applied GCP Training for Investigational Sites and Sponsors from ARCS Australia Ltd. The following year, they obtained the Essential Document and Good Document Procedures from ARCS Australia Ltd. In 2017, Winlo completed the Director's Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
