Amy Toopes

Amy Toopes, MSN, APN, FNP-BC is a highly skilled healthcare professional with extensive experience in emergency nursing and education. Currently serving as an Education Program Development Specialist with the Emergency Nurses Association since June 2023, Amy previously worked as an Emergency Room Educator at Ascension from December 2021 to June 2023 and as a Nurse Practitioner at Presence Mercy Medical Center from July 2007 to June 2023. With a strong background in cardiac care, quality improvement, and emergency response, Amy has led various committees and served as an instructor for critical care protocols. Amy holds a Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Arkansas State University.
