Katrien Spruyt

Katrien Spruyt has extensive experience in education, administration, and support roles across various organizations. Starting at the Hoger Instituut voor Wijsbegeerte - KU Leuven as a students' administration and library staff member from 2005 to 2007, Katrien transitioned to roles such as an Administrative Officer at Webspace Medicolegal and participated in supporting student representation at the Vlaamse Vereniging van Studenten (VVS) from 2011 to 2012. Following this, a significant tenure at Netwerk tegen Armoede involved overseeing support staff from 2012 to 2018. With a focus on professional training, Katrien served as an Educational Advisor at VVOB and as an Intervention Officer for Enabel in 2022, aiding the Congolese government in developing vocational training strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Philosophy, a Master's in International Relations and Affairs, and a teacher training program, all from KU Leuven.
