Oblé Neya is a Senior Scientist specializing in Biodiversity and Climate Change at the West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use. They have led research projects focused on the impacts of climate change on biodiversity and sustainable land use in West Africa since 2015. Previously, Oblé held various positions, including Directeur des Etudes et de la Planification at the Ministère de la Recherche Scientifique et de l'Innovation du Burkina Faso from 2011 to 2015, and was the Head of the Applied Research Division at the National Tree Seeds Centre from 2008 to 2011. Oblé obtained a PhD in Plant Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and continues their studies at the Institute, Polytechnic University of Bobo Dioulasso.
