Xavier Tezzo is a PhD graduate from Wageningen University, where their research focused on the sociological aspects of food systems transformations amid the aquaculture transition in Myanmar. Currently, they work as an Expert in Sustainable Food Systems at Enabel, leveraging their background in agricultural and food science, freshwater systems, social science, and development aid. Previously, Xavier has held various roles including Research Program Coordinator at WorldFish and consultant for the FAO, contributing to projects that enhance livelihoods through improved fishing practices and food security. They also completed a Master’s Degree in Microfinance from Solvay Brussels School and a Master’s Degree in Bioengineering with a focus on aquatic systems at Université libre de Bruxelles.
