Caitlin has previously worked as a Sr. Systems Analyst at the US Securities and Exchange Commission and as a Technical Systems Analyst at ICF International, where they supported energy efficiency programs. Caitlin Jo holds a Master of Engineering Management degree from Duke University, where they conducted research and studied courses in business and engineering management.

Caitlin Jo Ramsey began their education journey at the Illinois Math and Science Academy, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Mathematics and Science in the year 2003. Caitlin Jo then pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a Specialized Curriculum. Continuing their academic pursuits, Caitlin enrolled at Duke University from 2009 to 2011 and attained a Master's degree in Engineering Management with a concentration in Finance.
