Andy Watson has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Andy started their career in 2004 as a Desktop Support Analyst at Electronic Data Systems. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Siemens Energy, initially as the Head of the UK Monitoring Group, overseeing a remote alarm handling and diagnostic center for wind turbines in the UK and Ireland. Andy later became the Head of Monitoring Services for Siemens Energy Service Renewables.

In 2012, Andy joined Siemens Energy Management as a Senior Project Manager, where they contributed to the development of a cloud-based call center solution and a remote alarm monitoring solution for substations. Andy stayed with Siemens until 2015 when they briefly worked as a Project Manager at Accenture UK for a short-term contract.

Andy then worked as an Operations Manager at Aeolus Power (Wind Energy) Ltd from 2016 to 2017. Following that, they joined HiETA Technologies Ltd in 2018, where they held various roles including Business Analyst, Operations Manager, and IT Programme and Project Manager.

In addition to their professional work, Andy has a long-standing career as an Independent Music Professional, specializing in drumming, session work, and drum teaching, particularly in American folk and roots music.

Andy Watson attended Western Comprehensive School from 1987 to 1991. Andy then went on to Franklin Sixth Form College, where they studied from 1991 to 1993.
