Richard Moore has extensive work experience in the engineering and product management fields. Richard started their career at Swichtec in 1992, where they provided engineering support for the design and manufacturing of power supplies for the telecommunications industry. After four years, Swichtec was acquired by BTR, later becoming Invensys, and Richard continued their role until 1996.

From 1996 to 2001, Richard worked at Ericsson Energy Systems as a Solutions Engineer/Manager. Richard was responsible for developing energy solutions for key mobile accounts like Vodafone, Orange, and One2One. This involved collaborating with virtual project teams to transform customer technical requirements into viable solutions.

In 2001, Richard took a break to travel before joining Invensys Energy Solutions in 2002. Richard served as a Senior Engineer, focusing on expanding the offering of telecom enclosure solutions and establishing customer-oriented product portfolios.

In 2003, Richard joined Eaton as a Manager for the Telecommunication Solutions Group, supporting and developing the European, Middle East, and North African markets. Richard also served as a Product Manager, overseeing Eaton's entire telecom product line throughout EMEA and implementing product configuration tools for the sales team. Richard held various roles at Eaton, including Telecom Segment Leader and Research Development Engineering Manager, where they led the creation of industry-leading solutions and managed CAPEX planning and budget setting until 2020.

In 2020, Richard briefly returned to New Zealand before joining Enatel in 2021. Richard has held the positions of Global Product Manager, Head of Product, and currently serves as the Director of Engineering.

Richard Moore completed their Bachelor of Business Systems degree with a specialization in Web Based Information Systems from Massey University from 2003 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended CPIT (Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology) from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a NZCE degree in Engineering - Communication. Additionally, Richard has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues," "Diversity and Inclusion in a Global Enterprise," "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," "Creating a Positive and Healthy Work Environment," "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging," and "Inclusive Leadership" in the months and years of 2022.
