Enatta Foundation is a Nigeria-based nonprofit organization advancing sustainable livelihoods for women in fishing communities.

Using a graduation-based approach, we support fisherwomen through livelihood activation, financial capability building, and community-led systems that enable long-term economic independence and resilience.

Our work addresses poverty, gender inequality, food security, and economic inclusion by supporting women to transition from survival to sustainable livelihoods.

Our programs align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:
SDG 1: No Poverty
SDG 5: Gender Equality
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
SDG 14: Life Below Water

Our Impact So Far:

Provided food parcels to over 300 families

Commissioned 16 boats for fisherwomen communities

Trained 250 women in financial literacy through our Money Mata initiative

1. Financial Inclusion and Economic Empowerment – Transforming lives by supporting fisherwomen communities and fostering self-sufficiency


2. Poverty Alleviation – Fighting hunger by distributing food parcels to underserved communities and charity homes


3. Social Cohesion – Providing an avenue for fisherwomen recognition and cultural awareness
