Mark Benson, P. Eng. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Supervisor of Field Engineering and Measurement at Enbridge since July 2016. Prior to this, Mark worked as a Project Engineer for Saudi Aramco on the $2 billion Master Gas System Expansion, where responsibilities included overseeing automation scope. At TransCanada, Mark held the position of Senior Instrumentation, Controls & Automation Engineer, focusing on the construction and maintenance of process control systems across North America. Mark's earlier experience includes roles as an Electrical Design Engineer at Rising Edge Engineering Ltd., where Mark designed a 16MW electrical generation facility and automated high-voltage substations, and as a Project Management Engineer at Ontario Power Generation, overseeing capital projects at hydroelectric stations. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
