Stuart McFarlane

Stuart McFarlane has extensive experience in cyber-security and information technology management, currently serving as an ICS Cyber-Security Consultant at Enbridge since March 2019 and as an ICS Cyber-Security and Process Consultant at Dexcent. McFarlane develops repeatable cyber-security processes and provides consulting on security best practices in industrial control systems, leveraging frameworks such as CIS CSC 20, NERC CIP, and NIST. Prior to these roles, significant tenure at the University of Alberta included leadership positions in Information Technology Service Management, where responsibilities encompassed service management processes, knowledge management, and IT management across multiple departments. McFarlane began the career as the owner of SDM Network Solutions and worked as a Biomedical Equipment Technician at Calgary Regional Health Authority. Education includes a degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology from NAIT.
