Dillon Virva has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2010 as a Swim Instructor for the Penguin Swim Team. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Student Athlete at UNLV and a Reveiwer for Cytoculture International. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Staff Geologist for Broadbent & Associates, Inc., where they served as Field Team Leader for the EPA Superfund Technical Assessment & Response Team (START) Tubbs and Camp fire, and was responsible for low flow sampling of wells utilizing in-situ bladder pumps at depths of up to 700 feet below ground surface. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Environmental Program Specialist at Recology, where they administered environmental task management software that oversaw 200,000+ tasks across 80 operating facilities, provided IT and technical support to over 200 users, analyzed existing systems to produce impactful solutions, and liaised with software developer to enhance and optimize current practices. Dillon also converted original paper inspection forms into electronic applications allowing for instant report generation, distribution of reports through email, and automatic data backups. Currently, they are a Customer Success Manager at Encamp.

Dillon Virva obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2017. In October 2020, they obtained a Refrigerant Handling (EPA 608) certification from CalCERTS, Inc. Additionally, they obtained an OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Safety Training certification from NES, Inc. in 2017.
