Ming Chen

Ming Chen has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Starting in 1986, they worked at the University of Kansas Medical Center as a Research Assistant/Associate until 1993. They then worked at BioGenex as a Research Associate from 1994 to 1995. From 1996 to 1997, they were a Research and Development Associate at Somatix Therapy Corp. They then worked at Progenitor Life Sciences, LLC as a Sr. Research Associate for the year of 1998. In 1999, they joined Zyomyx as a Sr. Research Associate until 2001. Starting in 2001, they worked at the University of Arizona as a Postdoctoral Fellow until 2003. They then worked at Elan Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Scientist from 2003 to 2012. After that, they joined Prothena Corporation plc as an Associate Scientist from 2012 to 2017. Currently, they are working at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. as a Sr. Scientist I, starting in 2018.

Ming Chen attended Fujian Medical University from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.) degree with a focus on medicine.
