Alan Parente is an award-winning creative with a proven track record in building talented teams and delivering exceptional branding, visual storytelling, and visitor experiences across diverse themes and media. They served as Art Director at the National Geographic Society from 2007 to 2013 and later held the position of Creative Director for Exhibitions & Global Experiences from 2014 to 2019. Currently, Alan is the Vice President of Creative Services at Encore, having started in 2024, and recently concluded their role as Head of Experiences at the National Geographic Society in 2023. Alan earned a BBA in Marketing from The George Washington University in 1993.
