Michael Brown

Michael Brown possesses extensive experience in the audiovisual services industry, currently serving as Director of Event Technology II at Encore Event Technologies US since October 2013, previously holding the role of Assistant Director of Event Technology. Prior to this, Michael held various positions at American AVC from November 2007 to June 2011, including Regional Project Manager and Director of Audio Visual Services. Michael's earlier career includes roles at American Audio Visual Center from March 2002 to August 2007, culminating as Director of Audio Visual Operations at Westin Kierland Resort, as well as managing events at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Michael began in the industry as an AV Technician at the Fairmont. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from The University of Alabama, completed in 2000.
