Michael Gittens

Michael Gittens is an accomplished sales and operations leader in the audio-visual industry with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Director of Sales at Encore Event Technologies since January 2019, Michael has previously held the position of Director of Sales at ELITE Audio Visual Solutions from February 2007 to November 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing audio-visual sales in the Phoenix market. Additional roles at ELITE included Regional Director of Audio Visual, managing accounts in Tucson, Arizona, and at Ocean Place Resort and Spa, along with Director of Audio Visual Operations, where performance generated nearly $2 million in revenue within a 40,000-square-foot conference space. Michael's career began as an entry-level audio visual technician at J.W. Marriott. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Auburn University, completed between 2001 and 2006.
