Tim Salamon

Tim Salamon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the event technology and rigging operations sectors. Currently serving as the National Director of Rigging Operations at Encore since January 2015, Tim leads a dedicated team across the United States and Canada. Previously, as Regional Rigging Manager for PSAV, Tim ensured compliance with rigging standard operating procedures, managed daily operations, and mentored staff. Tim's previous roles also include Director of Event Technology at significant venues such as the Sheraton Chicago and Palmer House Hilton, as well as Project Manager at Hilton Chicago and Towers, where responsibilities included overseeing large revenue shows. Tim's career in audio-visual production began with roles such as Regional Technical Trainer and Assistant Director of Audio Visual at notable Chicago hotels. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Purdue University's Daniels School of Business.
