David Edge III

David Edge III is a seasoned fire safety professional with extensive experience in fire investigation and emergency response. Currently serving as a Senior Fire Consultant at YA Group since August 2025, David has also held the position of President of the Franklin Firefighters Association since July 2008, where responsibilities include managing over 140 members and advocating for fair salaries and safety standards. David has been an Engineer/Fire Investigator for the City of Franklin Tennessee since October 2003, responding to various emergencies. Prior roles include Senior Investigator III at J.S. Held LLC, Senior Consultant in the Fire & Explosion Division at Envista Forensics, and Adjunct Faculty teaching fire investigation at Volunteer State Community College. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University and multiple associate degrees in Fire Science from Volunteer State Community College.
