John McRee

John McRee possesses extensive experience in sales and marketing across multiple industries, culminating in a career that spans over four decades. Currently, John is semi-retired at Surf City Marketing, having transitioned from a notable tenure at Siemens as a Senior Business Development Manager, where responsibilities included driving sales of Medium Voltage Switchgear and assisting field sales with technical and commercial challenges. Prior roles include Vice President of Sales & Marketing at MGM Transformer Company, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing at IEM, and General Manager at Simplex - Grinnell, where John oversaw comprehensive operations in one of the largest business locations for the company. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Marketing for the West Region at Square D by Schneider Electric and as Region Manager of Marketing at General Electric Company. John’s educational background includes an MBA in Marketing from the General Electric Institute and a BBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Georgia.
