Al Edgar

Al Edgar is an experienced information security professional with a robust background in IT security management and consultancy. Currently serving as an Information Security Manager at Endace since March 2023, Al previously held the role of Contract Security Consultant at Starlike Limited from August 2022 to March 2023. Prior to that, Al managed information security for healthAlliance from September 2019 to July 2022, providing IT security services across four District Health Boards. Al's expertise also includes positions as Vulnerability Manager at Genesis, Cloud & Application Security Consultant at ASB Bank, and Technical Security Consultant, with a focus on penetration testing and technical security inputs. Al began the career as an IT Security Analyst at Paymark and holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology.
