Dave Barratt

Dave Barratt is an electromechanical engineering technologist with extensive experience in robotics, automation, and embedded systems. They have led cross-disciplinary engineering projects, specializing in mechanical design, control systems, and product lifecycle development while also founding Lord of Robots Inc., which provides educational robotics platforms for youth. Barratt's previous roles include Product Innovation Manager at Crystal Fountains and Director of Innovation at Dynamic Innovations, where they developed custom electromechanical devices. Currently, they serve as a Senior Development Consultant at Endava and mentor a high school robotics team in FRC. Barratt holds a diploma in Electro-mechanical Engineering Technology from Humber College.
