Michael Short

Michael Short joined Endeavor as General Counsel in 2005. Prior to joining Endeavor, Mr. Short was a shareholder in a Midland, Texas-based law firm. Before moving to Midland in 1988, he was employed in the litigation section of Exxon Corporation’s law department in Houston, Texas. At Endeavor, Mr. Short directs the company’s legal efforts and is also responsible for risk management, HS&E, M&A, divestitures, banking, and general corporate matters. Mr. Short earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a JD from the Birmingham School of Law. Mr. Short is licensed to practice in the States of Texas and Alabama and a member of the Texas, Alabama, and Fifth Circuit Bar Associations.
