Faans Vorster

Faans Vorster is an experienced mining professional with a strong background in production and project management. Currently serving as Mine Manager at Endeavour Mining since June 2018, responsibilities include leading and coordinating mining operations to maximize productivity and meet safety and cost objectives. Prior to this role, Faans served as Production Manager at DTP Mining from January 2012 to May 2018 and held the position of Site Agent at Basil Read Mining from January 2003 to December 2011, overseeing projects such as the heap leach pad construction for Areva Resources in Namibia. Early career experience includes working as a Foreman at Moolman Bros Mining, part of the Aveng Group, from January 2000 to December 2002. Educational qualifications include a Senior Management Development Programme from the University of Stellenbosch Business School in 2011 and a Technical High School degree from HTS Rustenburg from 1994 to 1997.
