Mathieu Calame has a diverse work experience in various tax and legal roles. Mathieu began their career as a Legal and Tax Adviser at EY in Gabon from 2002 to 2004. Mathieu then joined Shell, where they held roles such as Regional & Portfolio Tax Advisor for Africa, Tax Supervisor in Nigeria, Tax Manager in West Africa, and Senior Regional Tax Adviser for Southern, Central & Eastern Europe. In 2012, Calame returned to EY and served as a Director for Francophone Africa, overseeing transaction tax services. Lastly, they joined Endeavour Mining Corporation in 2017 as the Group Tax Director.
