Alex Chen is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in software development and data engineering. Currently employed at Endex since June 2025, Alex previously held positions at Instacart as a Software Engineer where responsibilities included building and managing data pipelines using dbt, Python, and Airflow, and optimizing data ingestion processes. Prior to that, Alex worked at GTS, enhancing Airflow infrastructure and maintaining SQL databases, and at NVIDIA, where Alex developed image data generation pipelines and improved simulation specification tools. Alex holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an IB Diploma from New Westminster Secondary School.
