Kate Schaefer

Kate Schaefer has a diverse work history, with experience ranging from software engineering to events management. Kate is currently a Software Engineer at Endgame, having previously served as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer IV at Formidable. Schaefer has experience working with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, MobX-State-Tree, and other modern web technologies. Prior to their software engineering roles, they honed their project management skills at the American Red Cross, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and the Museum of History and Industry. Kate also worked as a Project Manager at The Integer Group, managing Procter & Gamble brands across a team of 15 individuals. Schaefer is adept at managing budgets, scheduling, and meeting deadlines, while prioritizing customer needs and solving complex problems.

Kate Schaefer earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual majors in Marketing and Spanish from Colorado State University from 2002 to 2006. From 2011 to 2012, they pursued higher education at Newcastle University, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Museum Studies and Heritage Education. Recently, in 2018 and 2019, they completed the Web Development Immersive program at Galvanize Inc with a focus on Full Stack Web Development.
