Patrick Schmidt

Patrick Schmidt is an experienced engineer with a strong background in product development and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Product Development Engineer at Endomag since August 2021, Patrick previously worked as a Mechanical Engineer at CMR Surgical from October 2018 to July 2021. Academic experience includes positions at The University of Edinburgh as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, Research Associate, and Doctoral Researcher, with research focused on two-phase flow simulations and interfacial dynamics. Earlier roles include research positions at the German Aerospace Center and GE Global Research. Patrick holds a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from The University of Edinburgh, as well as multiple master's degrees in Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from respected institutions.
