Suzanne Smith

Suzanne Smith is a Product Development Engineer at Endomag since February 2022, specializing in the design and development of microsystems devices for health and environmental diagnostics. Previously, Suzanne served as a Senior Lecturer and Lecturer in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Pretoria from July 2019 to December 2021. With extensive experience as a Senior Bioengineer at CSIR from March 2010 to May 2019, responsibility included leading the technical development of blood analysis cartridge projects. Suzanne has also engaged in multiple international research visits and collaborations, including roles as an external examiner and a teaching assistant at the University of Pretoria. Educational qualifications include a Dr.-Ing in Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and multiple degrees in Bioengineering and Electronic Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
