AbderRahman Sobh

AbderRahman Sobh has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. AbderRahman currently works as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Endpoint since July 2022. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a Freelance/Consultant Data Scientist, where they developed tools for private clients, provided guidance on specific use cases for applied Data Science, and authored learning materials covering the Data Science workflow.

AbderRahman also worked as a Contingent Worker at ProUnlimited @ Facebook from July 2020 to July 2022, contributing to various engineering efforts for Meta's Project Aria. AbderRahman was previously the Manager of Machine Learning at Earnin from July 2019 to April 2020 and a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at the same company from April 2019 to June 2019.

Before that, AbderRahman was the Lead Data Scientist at Life360 from December 2017 to June 2018, where they established a roadmap of potential Data Science projects, led initiatives for new Data Science tools/features, and defined in-app delivery of new Data Science insights as products. AbderRahman also worked as a Data Scientist at AJ+ from December 2016 to November 2017, building a tool for live scoring of Social Media Engagement and creating data pipelines for insight delivery.

AbderRahman's career started as a Software Developer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2012 to December 2016. Their contributions primarily focused on designing and building Data Science pipelines for educating future Data Scientists within the NanoBio Node group, a resource for nanobiotechnology supported by the National Science Foundation.

AbderRahman Sobh pursued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics. Before attending the university, they completed their high school education at Uni High in the year 2007. In addition to their formal education, AbderRahman obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford Online in April 2023.
