Jay Wang has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jay is currently working as a Senior Software QA Engineer at Endpoint since March 2022. Previously, from August 2020 to April 2022, they served as a Software Engineering Manager at Northrop Grumman, where they also worked as an Engineer Software 3 from December 2016 to August 2020.
Before joining Northrop Grumman, Jay Wang worked as an Application Developer II at California Southern University from January 2015 to December 2016. Jay was responsible for implementing new web features and utilizing Microsoft stack technologies such as C#, Asp. net, Entity Framework, and JavaScript. Jay also worked on SQL store procedures, views, and tables as required by the application.
Prior to that, Jay Wang gained experience as a Programmer at SoftScript from January 2013 to November 2014. In this role, they created C# WPF interface modules, developed hospital transcription interfaces, and deployed automated build systems using Jenkins and GIT repositories.
Earlier in their career, Jay Wang worked at HiPerSoft Corporation as a Deployment/Installation/IT specialist from January 2012 to November 2012. In this role, they created a versioning system, set up server infrastructure, and implemented backup solutions.
Lastly, Jay Wang served as a Build Manager at Carbine Studios from March 2008 to November 2010. Their responsibilities included writing development tools, maintaining build scripts, implementing continuous integration, and designing a CLI program for better optimization of build times.
Jay Wang attended the Art Institute of California - San Francisco from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Game Programming. In 2021, Jay obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
