Brad Cooper has extensive work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Brad currently serves as the Head of Threat Intelligence - Americas at Enea AB since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Verizon Wireless for over 19 years, starting as an Engineering Manager in January 2001 and later taking on the role of Associate Director - Technology, Messaging, and Virtualization in September 2013. At Verizon, they were responsible for Engineering, Operations, and System Performance for the messaging ecosystem, with a focus on Network Function Virtualization and porting applications from PNF to VNF. Brad also worked on various programs related to messaging anti-abuse, WEA (Emergency Messaging), IOT Messaging, Roaming, Voicemail, and adapting mobile applications for 5G wireless. Before joining Verizon, Brad Cooper worked as a Member of Technical Staff at AirTouch from October 1992 to December 2000. Brad also briefly served as an I.T. Consultant at William Beaumont Hospital from January 1992 to October 1992.
Brad Cooper attended Michigan State University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Telecommunications. Brad then pursued further education at Oakland University from 2001 to 2004 and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management.
