Claudia Toro is a Ricercatore at ENEA (Agenzia Nazionale per le Nuove tecnologie, l’Energia e lo Sviluppo economico sostenibile) since December 2018, specializing in energy efficiency in economic sectors. Prior to this role, Claudia served as a Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher at Sapienza Università di Roma from April 2017 to December 2018, focusing on the scientific sector of machinery (ING-IND 08). Claudia's research experience also includes a position as a Researcher at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, where key responsibilities involved studying the environmental impact of energy conversion systems and energy recovery from waste. Additionally, Claudia worked as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, delivering seminars on energy conversion simulation and optimization. Technical management experience includes coordinating an EU-funded project on solar-assisted high-temperature heat pumps at Technosind Srl from December 2016 to December 2018. Claudia holds a Laurea Magistrale in Mechanical Engineering from Università di Roma Tor Vergata and a Dottorato di ricerca in Energetica from Sapienza Università di Roma.
