Marco Montecchi is a Research Physicist at Thermodynamic Solar Laboratory ENEA-Casaccia, specializing in optics with expertise in modeling, experimentation, and data analysis. They have been dedicated to the development of methodologies and experimental setups for the optical characterization of materials and devices since 2003, focusing on Concentrating Solar Power (CSP). Throughout their career, Marco has created several instruments, including optical profilometers and reflectance measurement tools, and currently oversees the optical characterization service for solar concentrators at ENEA. Marco participated in the SolarPACES Task III, contributing to guidelines for measuring the reflectance of solar mirrors and coordinating the SolarPACES Reflectance Round-Robin (SRRR). They hold a Physics degree in Optics from Università degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza', graduated with honors.
