Matteo Caldera holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, where they also served as a visiting Ph.D. candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently, Matteo is a senior researcher at ENEA and has previously worked as a research assistant at the Department of Energy while collaborating with the Metrology Lab at PoliTO. They specialized in feasibility studies and energy efficiency strategies during their time at Cantene S.r.l. Matteo actively contributes to TC 253 of the Italian thermo-technical Committee for Standardization (CTI) and is a member of ASHRAE, focusing on diverse research topics including renewable energy communities and energy efficiency in integrated energy systems.
