Berker Bilgin

Dr. Berker Bilgin received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL, in 2011, and MBA degree from DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, in 2018. He is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University. He is the principal inventor/co-inventor of over 10 patents and pending patent applications. He is the lead editor and author of the book titled Switched Reluctance Motor Drives: Fundamentals to Applications. He was the General Chair of the 2016 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo (ITEC).
