Javier Vaquerizo is an accomplished energy management and trading executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Global Chief Commercial Officer at ContourGlobal and Energy Management & Trading Executive since May 2024, Javier previously held key leadership roles at Enel Group, including Head of Global PPA and Renewable Energy Solutions and Head of Global Commercial Office. Javier's expertise spans across global commercial activities, power sales in Latin America, and energy management in Iberia, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and manage substantial portfolios of renewable energy projects. An Industrial Engineer with advanced education from SDA Bocconi and IESE Business School, Javier combines technical knowledge with strategic leadership in the energy domain.
