Simone Bertolo

Simone Bertolo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the gas and LNG sectors. Currently serving as the Head of New Businesses and New Contracts at Enel Group since February 2011, Simone is responsible for negotiating and executing long-term gas and LNG contracts and developing new business opportunities related to the gas market, including hydrogen. Previously held roles at Enel Group include Head of Origination and Long Term Contracts and Head of Business Development - LNG, where responsibilities encompassed origination, evaluation, and negotiation of supply and sales contracts. Prior to joining Enel, Simone worked at General Electric from April 1999 to January 2011 in various positions, including Marketing Director and Business Development Manager, focusing on strategic growth in the oil and gas sector. Simone holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze and furthered education at SDA Bocconi.
