Originally from Springfield, IL, Steve attended DeVry Technical in Chicago 1966 and 1967. After college, he went to work for a generator controls company in 1972. In 1977, he moved to Louisville, KY to work for a Caterpillar Dealer.
In 1981, he moved back to Illinois to start working for Enercon where he started as a testing technician, then then moved to field service and commissioning. Currently, he works as Enercon’s Senior Applications Engineer.
