Axel Braicks is currently the Head of the Department of Loads & Control at ENERCON, a position held since 2023. Previously, they worked at GE Renewable Energy from 2017 to 2023 as a System Integration Leader for Loads, and held various engineering roles at GE Energy from 2007 to 2009, including System Integration Leader and Engineering Manager for Enhanced Simulations & Tools. Axel began their career as a Thermal Simulation Engineer in R&D at Schmidt Reuter Partner from 2002 to 2003. Axel holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Environmental Engineering and Renewable Energies from HTW Berlin, earned between 1997 and 2002.
