Basavaraja K is a seasoned wind turbine tower professional with extensive experience in product development and R&D project management. Currently serving as Manager of R&D Product Development for Towers and Foundations at ENERCON since March 2020, Basavaraja has a proven track record in cross-functional project execution, tower optimization, and nonconformities resolution. Prior to ENERCON, Basavaraja worked as Lead Engineer in R&D Product Development for Towers at Senvion GmbH, focusing on designing internal components and developing new technology products. Basavaraja's earlier experience includes mechanical design roles at ABB in India and Vacon Drives & Controls Pvt Ltd., beginning a career in engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bellary Engineering College.
