Florian Rubner

Florian Rubner possesses extensive experience in the field of aerodynamics and blade engineering, currently serving as the Head of Division Aerodynamics and Blade Engineering at ENERCON since October 2010. Key roles at ENERCON include Head of Unit Rotor Blade and Head of Structural Design for rotor blades, focusing on the structural design of rotor blades for wind energy converters using fibre reinforced plastics. Prior to this, Florian Rubner was employed at IKV - Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung an der RWTH Aachen as a Hilfswissenschaftler, where responsibilities included mechanical design and dimensioning of CFRP and GFRP structures and conducting component tests. Florian Rubner holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Maschinenbau Konstruktionstechnik from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, obtained in 2010.
